Santex Retail – 10 Year Primer Undercoat – White – 750ml & 2.5L.
10 Year Exterior Primer Undercoat provides the perfect base for wood and metal and should be used as a base coat for all Sandtex exterior gloss and satin products for guaranteed results.

Preparation:
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease or surface contamination.
Any grey or denatured timber will need sanding back to a clean, smooth surface.
For Bare Wood:
Ensure the wood is dry.
Treat knots and reinous parts with knotting solution.
Previously painted surfaces:
Wash with warm water and sugar soap, rinse well with clean water and allow to dry.
Thoroughly abrade and dust off.
Remove all loose, flaking or suspect paint coatings.
Fill all voids and gaps with a suitable external filler.
Apply one coat of 10 Year Primer Undercoat to seal the wood, followed a top coat once dry.
Metal surfaces:
This system can be applied to suitably primed metal.
Application:
Stir thoroughly before use.
Apply by brush.
Apply evenly and avoid overspreading.
Clean brushes immediately with White Spirit.
Drying time:
Touch dry in 4-6 hours.
Recoat after 16 hours.
