Crown Trade – Acrylic Eggshell – RAL 2011 – 2.5L

Crown Trade – Acrylic Eggshell – RAL  2011 – 2.5L has the colour name Deep Orange.
This RAL colour is in the Orange hues category, part of the RAL Classic colour system.

A premium quality fast drying, virtually odour free emulsion for wood, walls and ceilings.
An alternative to solvent-borne Eggshell.

For interior use only.
Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

PREPARATION:

All new surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied. Porous surfaces should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Acrylic Eggshell diluted with 40% clean water by volume.
Any areas of surface filling after priming should be touched in with the priming or mist coat diluted as for main areas.

Previously Decorated Surfaces:

All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied e.g. dirt, grease etc.
Remove all loose, failing or suspect paint.
Feather edges of sound paint.
Fill any fixing holes, cracks and with a filler.
Patch prime bare, filled and powdery areas as for new surfaces above.
Wash remaining sound paint with hot water and sugar soap solution to remove any contaminants.
Any glossy or eggshell surfaces should be wet abraded to provide a key.
Rinse with clean water to remove all residues.
Allow to dry.

COATING SYSTEM:

Apply two coats.
Certain colours may require additional coats to give complete obliteration.

APPLICATION:

Stir well before and during use.
Apply using good quality tools – synthetic brush or medium pile roller.
For airless spray dilution may be required.

CLEANING:

Return surplus material to container. Wash tools & equipment with clean water or a warm
soapy solution & rinse immediately after use.

STORAGE:

Store upright and secure. Store in secure dry conditions inaccessible to children or animals.
Containers should be kept closed during storage. Do not store below 5ºC or above 40ºC.
