Crown Trade – Silk Vinyl – RAL 5018 – 2.5.
RAL colour 5018 has the colour name Turquoise Blue.
This RAL colour is in the Blue hues category, part of the RAL Classic colour system.
A premium quality silk emulsion for interior use on wall and ceiling surfaces, where a washable high sheen finish is required.
Do not apply when, air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.
PREPARATION:
New Surfaces:
All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied.
Porous surfaces should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Silk Vinyl diluted with 40% clean water by volume.
Previously Decorated Surfaces:
All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied e.g. dirt, grease etc.
Remove all loose, failing or suspect paint.
Feather edges of sound paint.
Fill any fixing holes, cracks and shallow surface defects with a filler.
Wash remaining sound paint with hot water and liquid detergent solution to remove any contaminants, frequently changing the water.
Any glossy or eggshell surfaces should be wet abraded to provide a key.
Rinse with clean
water to remove all residues.
Allow to dry.
COATING SYSTEM:
Apply two coats as required.
Certain colours may require additional coats to give complete obliteration.
APPLICATION:
Stir well before use.
Apply by brush or medium pile roller.
For airless spray (dilution may be required).
CLEANING:
Return surplus material to container. Wash with clean water immediately after use.
